1. When prompted, please enter your Estimate or Invoice number (i.e. Estimate #2025-01-01). This helps to ensure your payment is correctly applied to your file, particularly in instances when it is not the client themselves who is remitting payment.

2. There should be no requirement for a security question or password, as automatic deposit is enabled.

For your further convenience, we have linked the major financial institutions offering Interac eTransfer payment services below. If your institution is not listed, you can most likely still send an Interac eTransfer – simply log in to your online banking as usual.

Type in the amount you wish to pay from your Estimate or Invoice in the field below. It will automatically tell you how much your card will be charged with the 3.25% credit card convenience fee.

If you have entered a valid payment amount, the “Proceed to Secure Payment” button will appear. When you click this button, you will be redirected to our secure payment portal to enter your credit card information and process your payment. Please ensure you have your Estimate or Invoice number available, as you will be asked to enter that alongside your card information.

You will receive a receipt to the e-mail address you provided once your payment has been successfully processed.

By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the applicable Terms & Conditions, including the terms of any Estimate, Invoice, Professional Services Agreement, or Non-Disclosure Agreement related to the service(s) being provided. You further acknowledge that payment constitutes acceptance of these terms, and that Leanne Toews Specialized Family Law Clinical & Reporting Services (a division of 1220670 BC LTD.) is not responsible or liable for any claims, losses, or damages except as expressly set out in those agreements.

Instruct your legal counsel to have their firm process a trust cheque, ensuring it includes your name and the Estimate or Invoice number (i.e. Estimate #2025-01-01).

Particularly for cheques of larger amounts, it is preferred that they be delivered by courier, or personally delivered to the office. If this is the option you select for payment, please have your legal counsel or their office reach out to facilitate delivery.

Once the cheque has cleared, and it has been applied to your file, you will be notified directly.
